About Me

I used to be a normal person. Then, about nine years ago, I began using a computer. Since then, I have developed computer applications in quite a few languages, from Web sites to games and educational utilities for TI calculators. My experience with computers led to an exceptional high school record, earning me a number of much-appreciated awards and scholarships. Outside of school, when I'm not coding a neat computer program, I draw cartoons, make music, write short stories and eat more snack food then I probably should...

My Activities

  • Computer programming - I have been programming since I was nine years old. I know a wide variety of languages from Java to Python.
  • Music - I played clarinet for seven years, and can play the piano (a little bit). I generally prefer to use Linux MultiMedia Studio...
  • Drawing - I do a few neat pieces of artwork every now and then...
  • Cartooning - I'm a cartoonist for The Daily. You can see my work for them here.
  • FedGDC - I operate the Federated Game Developers Club at www.fedgdc.org.

What am I up to?

I am currently an Honors student at the University of Washington. I seek to earn a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, with the intent to gain a master's degree under the UW's new five-year master's degree program. I participate in the occasional computer programming contest, but aside from that I prefer to devote my extracurricular time to personal projects and research.

Most of what I'm up to shows up here, at Solo Kingdom. If you dare, check out the other sections of this site!
